CHICKEN FRIED IN BREADCRUMBS AND SEEDS RECIPE
A recipe that, despite its simplicity, will be sure to surprise your family or guests. We’re making chicken brochettes with a sweet and crunchy touch, which makes them ideal for a starter.
You’ll need:
– Chicken (or turkey)
– Egg
– Breadcrumbs
– Add It Vital Mix Topper (with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and poppy seeds).
– Superfood Sesame Seeds
– Honey
Cut the chicken into chunks. You’re going to fry them in a pan, so they need to be big enough not to fall to pieces, but not so big that they don’t cook through.
Prepare a plate with breadcrumbs mixed with Vital Mix that you’ve already ground (the smaller the pieces, the better). Coat the chicken in the egg and mix and put it on the skewers. The chicken doesn’t have to be completely covered in breadcrumbs: it’s better to have a fine coating or even gaps without breadcrumbs than too much.
Place the brochettes in the frying pan and brown them. When they’re ready, take them out and coat them in honey and sesame seeds (to get a more uniform result, use a pastry brush).
And they’re ready to serve! Kids will love them… and so will grown-ups!
